Annex Enterprises Inc. is COR Certified and is committed to protecting the health and safety of everyone who plays a part in our operations, lives in the communities in which we operate or uses our products.  Wherever we operate, we will conduct our business with respect and care for both the local and global environment and systematically manage risks to drive sustainable business growth.  We will not be satisfied until we succeed in eliminating all injuries, occupational illnesses, unsafe practices and incidents of environmental harm from our activities.

DRUG & ALCOHOL POLICY
Annex Enterprises has a strong commitment to ensure that all employees are provided with a safe and reliable workplace, which is why they strictly adhere to the Drug and Alcohol Policy that is in place.  Inappropriate use of alcohol and drugs can have a serious effect on safety and the well being of workers.

The possession and consumption of alcohol, illegal drugs, or misuse of prescription drugs is strictly prohibited on the property of, in vehicles of, or in circumstances deemed to be serious risk to Annex Enterprise’s integrity.  This includes while on call and 8 hours prior to work duties.  Misuse or illegal consumption of any alcoholic beverage, controlled substance, or prescription drug will result in disciplinary action or termination.

TRAINING
Annex Enterprises ensures that its workers are adequately qualified, suitably trained and possess sufficient experience to safely perform work without supervision or with only a minimal degree of supervision.

Annex Enterprises requires all employees to possess valid safety tickets from the following programs:

• H2S Alive
• First Aid
• WHMIS
• TDG
• PST or CSTS
• Fall Protection
• Confined Space
